Durability and finish rarely seen in an economic plate range.

Equipfit HG plates are designed to deliver a premium plate at an afforable price. Using the same high grade quality rubber as our competition plates and combined with a special steel insert we aim to deliver the best economic bumper in NZ for schools, Crossfit boxes, functional studios and home gyms a like. Product testing is carried out with every batch to ensure our quality standards are met in regards to weight tolerances, hardness, dead drop and durability . Our special steel insert design reinforces the plates against shear forces after repeated drops and raised flanges on the outside make the plates easier to handle. The vibrant colours, Equipfit logo and fresh odor brings quality into your facility that can be seen and felt.

Robust Steel Insert Design
Our unique steel insert design makes our HG training bumpers stronger than other brands, the center ring will not fall out after long repeated drops.
IWF Standard Diameter and Tolerances
450 mm Diameter. 50.4+/- 0.1mm Collar. 
Hardness with a Low Bounce
Tested on a Shore A Durometer scale, the Equipfit HG Bumpers average measurement was a 88. This ensures a consistent low bounce that is also fairly quiet and resistant permanent indentation and failure (insert coming out or plates warping).
Drop Testing
Drop tested from a height of 2.2 M for 60 Mins, 300 times. This is equivalent to 60,000 drops under regular use.
Smoother for Longer 
Smoother then other Hi-Temp bumpers but they won't wear faster.
Protective Flanges
The outer flange provides a convenient lip allowing for easy pick up and to reduce scuffing, preserving the plates finish and lettering.

*Recommendation: Due to the thin profile of the 5 kg plate it is recommended for a longer life to not be dropped from over head and to be dropped with control. If you do wish to drop from overhead we recommend our Equipfit Elite Technique Plates - 5kg.
